Policy

To provide the best services to you, our policy and operating procedures are continually being updated. Please thoroughly read and understand our policies to know what to expect from us. If you have any questions about or policy, do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are happy to answer any questions that you may have.

Basic Operating Standards

Animal Waste

To provide you the best quality of service, we ask that before we perform any work for you, you clean up after your dog. It is unsanitary for our team or equipment to come into contact with your dog's waste. Should there be dog waste in the area where our team will be working, we will charge a small fee to clean up the dog waste and/or clean it off of our equipment. Thank you for your understanding.

Payment Options

All customers who do not intend to pay at the time of service are required to place and maintain a valid credit card on file. At the end of the month or upon completion of work, this credit card will be charged for the balance accrued and an email or text receipt will be sent out. If you desire to pay via a different method, a card is still required to be held on file and your preferred payment method will be accommodated to the best of our abilities.

Occasional customers will be billed at the time of service.

Acceptable payment options are: Cash, Card, Check, ACH as well as E-Payments such as ApplePay. We do not accept Venmo, CryptoCurrencies, or other P2P payment methods.

Any credit card or equivalent charged for at or more than $1,000 will be charged a 3% convenience fee.

Rate Changes

We occasionally have to adjust the rates for our services. Whenever our rates change, you will be notified of the updated prices before we perform the affected work for you. If you are on our schedule for a service that has recently experienced a price change, you will be notified a minimum of 3 business days before your next scheduled service.

Property Obstacles

In order to provide you with the best quality service possible, we require that all obstacles are removed from our work area prior to our work beginning. Please remove all toys, pet toys, furniture, sports equipment, rubbish, and any other foreign material from the work area prior to our arrival. Failure to do so may result in the postponing of services until the obstacles have been removed or the charging of a small fee to remove them for you. Please make sure that any gates that lead to the work area are unlocked and passable, or that there is an easily accessible alternate route to the work area.

Safety

Safety is of the highest importance to us. While we work, please maintain a safe distance from us for your safety. Please keep all kids and pets well away from the work area. It is often a good idea to keep windows adjacent to the work area closed to prevent dust, exhaust fumes, and noise from entering your house.

Special Policy For Dethatching And Aeration

Dethatching and aerating your lawn is a critical procedure to help your lawn to grow it's best. Learn more about how it works and why it is so beneficial on the "Information" tab on our website. It is a fairly major procedure and some steps must be taken to get the most out of your lawn dethatching and aeration.

Inground Irrigation Systems And Other Inground Obstacles.

If your lawn has an inground irrigation system, it is necessary to mark the location of all of the sprinkler heads in order to prevent damage during the dethatching and aeration process. Please mark irrigation heads along with any other inground obstacles (exposed tree roots, stepping stones, rocks, etc.) prior to our team's arrival to perform your dethatching and aeration. If your are unable to mark these obstacles, our team can. However, we must be informed of the location of them in order to mark their position.

Animal Waste

Due to the nature of dethatching and aeration deep cleaning your lawn, animal waste must be removed prior to our team beginning work. It is unsanitary for us to work around, and especially for it to get on our equipment where it can then be transported to another yard. Should there be animal waste in the work area when we are there to dethatch and aerate your lawn, there will be a $10 fee to clean it up and/or clean it off of our equipment.

Thatch And Core Cleanup

When we dethatch your lawn, we will collect and remove all of the thatch generated. When we aerate your lawn the cores will be left on the lawn to break down. They will decompose and go back into your lawn's soil system within a few weeks. If we dethatch and aerate your lawn at the same time, some of the cores will be collected along with the thatch. Some full cores or parts of them may remain on the lawn. Regardless of whichever of these services that you choose, any thatch, cores, or other debris will be blown off of patios, sidewalks, driveways, flower beds, etc.

Grass Height Requirement

In order to most effectively dethatch and aerate your lawn, the grass must be a manageable length. While we do not have a specific length that it needs to be, it should not be much longer than normal mowing height. If your grass has not grown much since it was last mowed, then it will most likely be fine. If it is significantly too long, then it should be mowed before our team can dethatch and aerate it. This height requirement is necessary so that our machines can work at their optimal efficiency to provide the best quality of service. It also facilitates cleanup so that the dethatching and aeration can have the best affect on your lawn.

Policy Updates

Whenever our policy is updated, any affected customers will be notified.
